Mayan Magic Wildfire really comes into its own when it reveals its special features. This is where the game comes to life and differentiates itself from other slots with similar themes. There are three special features in total, each of which can appear randomly on any spin of the reels. The first of these is the Mayan Wilds feature, which is activated when you land a wild symbol in the centre position of the middle reel. This remains stick for the next spin, and if further wilds are revealed then both are sticky and another respin takes place. This continues for as long as wilds appear, with multiplier increasing x1 for every three wild symbols on the reels.

The Mystery Wild feature can randomly turn the symbol on the centre square on the middle reel into a wild symbol, thereby activating the Mayan Wilds feature. When that same symbol shows up again it automatically turns to a wild. The Mystery Sync feature can also randomly appear on any spin. This one synchronises the symbols on the middle three reels to give players a better chance of a win.
